Saudi Arabia - SGS Mandate

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia requires that all consignments of products intended for export to the country must be accompanied by a Certificate of Conformity (CoC). This demonstrates their compliance with applicable standards and technical regulations.



SGS offers various services to help customers through the process of implementation of the program of conformity assessment. Depending on the nature of the product, the verification may involve one or a combination of the following activities:

•     Physical inspection prior to shipment
•     Sampling, testing and analysis in accredited laboratories
•     Audit processes of manufacturing
•     Document control and conformity assessment with the requirements of technical regulations and standards, for example SASO, GSO, IEC

The program of conformity assessment is under the authority of the Ministry of Trade and Industry and we are an approved certification.
